Back and already cooking away

After more than 24 hours of traveling, I have safely arrived in Italy, Treviglio to be exact, and have recovered with a solid 15 hours of sleep. I was welcomed back with a lovely Survival Kit from Luigi which included the necessities – Montenegro, chocolate, several issues of Time and more to help with my jet-lag!

Now, Luigi is off to the store with a list for our Christmas 2 celebration that we are having tomorrow night (as long as my luggage arrives by then)…

Cheese list

…I’m kind of into cheese these days if you couldn’t tell.

For our dinner, we’ll also have polenta with tomato sauce (and cheese!) and spinach, fig and goat cheese (cheese!) on crackers and rugelach for dessert, since I have to continue spreading Christmas cookie joy!

But until then, we’ll be kicking it at home, waiting for the luggage and enjoying Luigi’s home brew.
